About Northwest Integrated Health

Medical, mental, and social care. One team. Seven clinics.

Northwest Integrated Health treats opioid use disorder as the medical condition it is, and treats the rest of your life as part of the picture.

How integrated care works

Three dimensions, in one visit.

A plain-language explainer. Each card stands alone - no required cross-references.

Medical

Medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD)

Methadone is dosed daily on-site. Buprenorphine (Suboxone) is daily and take-home eligible. Naltrexone (Vivitrol) is a monthly injection. Each is real medicine, with different fits.

  • Daily methadone dosing on-site
  • Buprenorphine prescriptions, with the take-home schedule the law allows
  • Naltrexone (Vivitrol) for patients who prefer no daily medication
Mental

Counseling and peer support

Licensed mental health counselors handle co-occurring depression, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma. Peer specialists are people who have been in your shoes and now hold this role professionally.

  • Same-day mental health intake when capacity allows
  • Group and individual options
  • 30+ days of aftercare support after a treatment milestone
Social

The things that aren't medical

Case managers help with the practical work: replacing an ID, applying for Apple Health, finding stable housing, navigating Pierce County benefits, and connecting you with legal aid when probation or family court is in the picture.

  • ID and document replacement
  • Apple Health enrollment assistance
  • Housing and benefits referrals
Where we are

Seven locations across Pierce County.

Tacoma South · Tacoma Westgate · Puyallup · Lakewood South · PCA Tacoma · Parkland · Tacoma Portland Ave. All seven accept the same insurance plans, including Apple Health, and all seven offer same-day walk-in for new patients during posted hours.

Access

No insurance, no problem we can't work on.

Adjustable fees

If you don't have insurance, we set fees against your income. We never deny care for inability to pay on the day of a first visit.

What you don't need to bring

You don't need a permanent address. You don't need a current phone number if you have an email. You don't need to have an ID on the first visit. Our case managers help replace it. You don't need a referral.

On this website

No email gate. No countdown. No surveillance.

You can read everything here without giving us anything.

We won't ask for your email or phone number just to read a page. We won't pressure you with pop-ups or countdown timers. You can leave this site and come back as many times as you need to.

What we share, and what we don't

Federal law (42 CFR Part 2) protects your treatment record. Northwest Integrated Health does not share your records with employers, family, courts, probation officers, or law enforcement unless you give written permission, or in the rare emergencies the law specifically defines.

  • Whether you are a patient here
  • What treatment you are receiving
  • Anything you tell your provider
