Mental Health Counseling
Your mental health is not separate from your recovery. We treat both.
Many people living with Substance Use Disorder also experience co-occurring mental health conditions - depression, anxiety, trauma, or other diagnoses that existed before addiction or developed alongside it. At Northwest Integrated Health (NWIH), mental health counseling is woven into the integrated treatment plan from day one, not added as an afterthought.
Our team includes psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, licensed social workers, and psychiatric nurse practitioners. In individual sessions, you can talk openly about your mental health - your emotions, your history, your thinking patterns - in a space that is confidential and judgment-free. Mental health counselors work alongside your medical provider and chemical dependency counselor so that all three dimensions of your care are coordinated.
The goal of mental health counseling at NWIH is to support clearer thinking, emotional resilience, and a stronger sense of self - because recovery is not just about stopping a substance. It is about building the life you want to live.
